Rovaniemi Day 1 Safari

Getting ready to go on a snowmobile. We were actually in a sled behind a snowmobile (which totally sucked because we were hoping that we would be able to actually ride in a SNOWMOBILE and it kept bumping up and down).
This is Severi. He was our snowmobile guide and the guy guiding the sleigh.
This is the view that we had on the sled. It took about an hour to get to where we needed to go with one rest stop.

We were on a frozen river.

This is us on the sled. These are reindeer skins that we are sitting on and we have a blanket on us. My stuff smelled like dead reindeer after the ride...

We named him... Sven. (From Frozen.) This was our Lapland rest stop where we sent sledding on an awesome hill, we rode reindeer and we had this weird funny storytelling guy who put ash marks on our head like antlers.

We used this fire to heat up some juice.
This is the Arctic Circle. We are wearing balaclavas because it is so cold.

This was an awesome sledding hill!

This is us on the sled behind a reindeer.
And this was our view... (REINDEER BUTT...)

(MORE REINDEER BUTT...)

G was driving.

This is when the guy put those ashes on our head.

And these are my ashes/antlers...

This is the lunch hall. We learned about reindeer and got a reindeer-driving license.
Severi gave us a very short (but very fast) ride...

Those snow drifts are 10-15 feet tall... This is at the Santa Claus village.

We met the real Santa too. (This isn't him!)

This is our new mini remote-controlled snowmobile.

At the Bed and Breakfast.
Sledding, at the B&B.
Crazy face!
This is me going up the hill to sled.
This was our backyard filled with deep snow.

This is where I landed when I sled.
